This policy explains how Sootru subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds are and are not available. It is part of our Terms of Service (see Section 9) and applies to paid plans. It does not reduce any non-waivable right you have under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (FCCPA) or other mandatory law.
1. Free trials
New organizations may receive a free trial (currently 30 days for Partner, 14 days for Business) with no card required. You are not charged during the trial. If you do not subscribe by the end of the trial, your access is restricted; we do not charge you automatically for a trial you did not convert.
2. How billing works
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance in Nigerian Naira through our payment processor, Paystack, by card or bank transfer, and renew automatically each period until cancelled. Enterprise customers may be invoiced annually by agreement. By subscribing you authorise us and Paystack to charge your chosen method for each renewal.
3. Cancellation
- You may cancel at any time from your dashboard billing settings, or by emailing support@becvora.com.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which it is not renewed.
- Cancelling does not, by itself, delete your data; see the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion.
4. Refunds
- Except where a refund is required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable, and there is no refund or credit for a partial period or for features you did not use.
- One-time and add-on purchases (for example a one-off report purchase) are digital and are non-refundable once delivered, except where the law requires otherwise.
- We do not provide pro-rata refunds on cancellation; you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
5. When we will put things right
If you were charged in error, charged twice, or the paid service was materially unavailable due to our fault, contact support@becvora.com within 30 days with details. We will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a correction, credit, or refund. Nothing here limits your statutory rights to a remedy for a service that is faulty or not as described.
6. Price and plan changes
We may change fees or plans on reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the account while the dispute is investigated.
